The way it's laid out, the wiring and soldering just the overall of the guts of the pedal is just beautiful. There's no other word for it.

I've never played a Klon, but I own a Mjolnir and that thing is never leaving my board. :)

Felt like you were channeling your inner Adam Savage in this video. Im not in the market for a real klon but i enjoyed this anyway. So curious why he went with that enclosure.

The difference in the finish of the silver Klon is due to how the aluminum case was manufactured. Original Klons are cast aluminum, where molten aluminum was poured into a form. There will never be visible striations in a cast piece. The fakes are (mostly) billet aluminum, meaning they are essentially "whittled" or cut out of a large chunk of aluminum. There will be visible cutting marks, especially on the inside!

Even though i would never buy a real Klon this is an interesting video because there are clearly many fake "real looking" Klons out there. Also, let me take this opportunity to thank you for making the Mjolnir Zach 🙂

I’ve played one real Klon Centaur, belongs to studio great Will McFarlane. I know mine is a fake because it says Warm audio on it
