Your XP in the game will go towards levelling up mastery ranks fast in the first descendant, so it isn't something you need to worry about too much!

i have heard that you have to use the starter character like viessa, lepic and ajax to progress mastery so i picked lepic and people say i can only use him to rank up mastery is that true?

How much xp is it for a weapon lvl up or from 1-40?

Mine is going very slow. I did 2 different areas completely and 3 collosols and not even went 1 rank up and I'm rank 11.( and I started with rank 11 before doing all that). We're does all the xp go then?? My character is lvl40 so it's not going there😅
