I see a lot of misinformation about weapon proficiency and levelling everything up a second time. You only get exp the first time you max anything out in this game. As the video states, level up all the descendants, all while level up every gun you have to level 40. It's really that simple.

every time i unlock a new Descendant i level them up to 15-20 by running the first 7 waves of the special operation in Kingston as its fast and easy levels to unlock their abilities, i use thunder cage as my clearing weapon as it makes the first 7 waves super easy, toss 2 random guns with low weapon rank in my 2nd and 3rd slot so they gain some levels (and mastery exp) then once i hit level 15-20 (2-3 times running the first 7 waves) i start to look for other missions to run with drops i want to farm and level the last 20-25 descendant levels and depending on what content i'm clearing i will use low proficiency weapons in all slots or thunder cage in my main slot and 2 low proficiency weapons in 2 and 3, because unless you are progressing trough content, Thunder Cage is just a nice and easy dont think about it weapon

Thundergun is a CoD zombies gun, I keep calling the Thunder Cage the same thing and now I just embrace it lol

Weapons will naturally level up by being equipped also, what I'm doing is equipping 2 random Weapons then using the thunder cage since I wanna filly crystallize it. Then all my Weapons level up:)

Greg’s is really fun for its passive and if you like that sort of fun. I use that, the hand cannon that gives Allie’s shield and the Albion machine gun lately with Ajax and it’s been pretty fun pve

Im stuck at Mastery 15. The game just does NOT want to give me the material for other descendants. 20% drop chance is bullshit.
I legit had to do one mission 43 times to get a 20% drop. Ridiculious.

The weapon leveling is painful if you are just starting don't just delete and ignore the weapons you pick up all the blue ones etc always have one gun that can carry you through and 2 that you are just leveling I didn't and and then got to a point where u hit a wall of not having any characters to level but wanting to level up mastery and was left with a storage box full of level one proficiency weapons and it is horrific to think about how many hours it will take

Does hard mode versus normal mode make a difference? Because it feels like when I topped out on Viessa, I went over to Freyna and just left it in hard mode and I got to 40 really fast. Just by palling around with all of these other higher level people. And repeating missions or Outpost.

I'm mastery rank 1 it's telling me rank up available, but when I click on it, nothing happens. What do I do? I'm used to warframe

Do you happen to know how many descendants i need to max level to go from rank 18 to rank 20 i only ask because out of all the grinding even though ultimate weapons are a pain the mastery grind is sucking my soul out or what's left of it 🤣
