Great format, I like the voice over and tips, I had no idea you could get away with Aluminum weld with stick, I don't have a Tig but occasionlya need aluminum weld, subscribed!

I believe that AC can create a big enough charge capable of overloading aluminum electrodes.

Many people underestimate AC stick which I've seen melt E6010 that they call DC only.

E6010 and aluminum electrodes shouldn't resist alternating current that long.

Great trying to fix a small crack on my transmission i try aluminum brazing but can't get the transmission hot enough. im think of buy a cheap stick welder to fix it myself as i cant find someone to do it in my area

Iv got a all aluminum golf cart iv modified from electric to gas ..no one can make it hold with aluminum welding ..as always I'm ready to take matters into my own hands and I'm fed up ..so I'll need to buy a DC welder correct??

A friend just gave me a 115v/70amp stick welder and I need to weld the back on a broken automatic transmission. Was quite happy till you said it needs high amperage. I thought aluminum would be lower amperage.🤔 Anyway, not gonna work? Thanks for any advice. Getting desperate to get my beasty back on the road.
