My Top 10 Slap Bass Riffs - #10 ‘Classical Thump’ by Victor Wooten

In this video I demonstrate how to play the opening section of Victor Wooten's solo composition 'Classical Thump’. You’ll find this track on Victor's debut album, A Show of Hands.

Although this line sounds unbelievably difficult, it's actually simpler than you might think... This line is great introduction to two techniques that Victor is well-known for: the open string hammer-on technique and the double thumbing technique.
