How To Disable The Backup Reverse Beeper on Evolution Electric Golf Cart

Look for the green wire under the seat that connects to the backup beeper alarm and pull the wire off the spade connector. This is how you disable the backup alarm for the evolution golf cart and evolution forester golf carts.

My EZGO is a 2017 and you cannot disconnect it or it will not run. But you can muffle it and it's way better. It is located under the seat on the passenger side. NICE QUICK VIDEO!!

this was helpful. on my 2023 forester, there are TWO different sounds. This disabled one but still one remains. I see the speaker where it comes from but can't get to the connection.

find the little 5" speaker box further towards rear of cart from the green connectors in the video. Open that box and disconnect the wires. Silences the growler and 1/2 back up noise....

i have the Evo Classic and did exactly as you did, but the beeper is still beeping!

EVO Classic 4 Plus can't be deactivated per the service techs without disabling the cart. So sad

I used to do this thought it was a cool upgrade. But one time I jumped into my cart and it was in reverse without me know it and bumped my car. I put tape over the buzzer now. Brings the volume way down.
