Google is very sly and unethical. If you have to turn on backup then it is right in front as soon as you go into settings. But when you have to turn it off we have to go into google photos settings? Why? That toggle should be there always in front!

Hi, my issue is that my photos are being backed up to a different google account. I have switched the account its backing up to but dont want the pictures to be on the other account. Will deleting the pictures also delete it on the other account or is there something else i have to do?? i also dont have access to this account right now

I wanted to delete google photos but I realised that google photos deleted the pictures that were on my phone after backing them up. I now have to download all of my own images because of this! I have lost most of my images because of this.

Hi if I turn off back up. But than turn it back on say in 6 months time will all photos taking on my phone in that time period automatically back up to the Google photos again? Could I just manually back up the photos I want to back up and keep ? Thanks for help

Damn Google and their I have never backed up anything to Google ever. For some reason I hit the backup up button on my new s24 ultra and i was put in this hell dimension called 😂 🤣

This is the reason why I use my phone storage and not 😂

My backup is turned off, but there still seem to be loads of photos in Google photos, but i am far from reaching my limit. I just want my photos on my devices only &😊 on the iCloud - i have an iphone and ipad. When I tried to delete from Google photos, it also deleted them on my devices 😳 Can you please help?

Google must have thought this is a good way to earn. How could someone sacrifice the storage allocated for receiving emails in exchange for backing up photos and video from their phone? Google didn't even think about this.

I turned off back up as instructed but pics are still going onto google photos and if I delete them from there it also deletes them from the gallery 🤦‍♀️
