You conveniently forget Hong Kong was Cinese territory occupied by a colonial power. What it does with HK it is an internal matter. How about UK kept Bombay as a separate state. You and WION are total hypocrites. Shame on you!

Many simple things make people happy, a roof over their head, food on the table ay dinner time, cloth to wear, and heat in winter, a small garden. Governments live their lives without caring about what the majority s struggles are.

The British ruled Hong Kong for 99 years and they never gave Hong Kong democracy. The last governor of Hong Kong was cris paton was selected by British government. Palki you forgot to mention that subce 1997 Hong Kong economy has doubled.

If Palki thinks the handover of Hong Kong is the fall of Hong Kong, then India should remain as a British colony~

I can say I was lucky to have business and frequent travels to HK. I enjoyed it so much. Now it is a forgotten city no one wants to stay in! Everything that Palki says is very, very true! RIP HK! Long live free Taiwan!

If God can punish those devils who make up stories and lie to the world, this lady will be the first one to be punished ....it's sinful...

My husband and I were fortunate to travel to Hong Kong in 2019. The riots had only just started. It was a beautiful city, so vibrant! My heart breaks to think it isn't the same city anymore. I feel for its people.
Progress is always a utopia; humans always seem to manage to destroy what is functional and beautiful, and roll it back into some dark and controlled dystopian system. The XXI century is not a century of progress; anywhere.

I have been tuning in this WION channel because of this exceptional lady reporter. All anchors from CNN, Fox, ABC in the united state should learn from this lady how to be honest when reporting.

Let's ask how many Hong Kongers would rather live in India. There debate closed.
Hong Kong will always remain an international business hub because it's the gateway to China. The only advantage HK has is that it's Chinese.

Palki's reporting is always spot on until china is mentioned then all hell break loose, India should learn from china not envy or be jealous of them, when ur opponent is smarter than you take notes dont hate what you cant imitate it's just common sense

Hong Kong is the result of a global hegemony failure.. All the US businesses that left Russia is also part of the reality that the world is now seeing…as well all the oil businesses that left Venezuela is a result of the failure to convince the world that this thing we call the US global initiative towards hegemonic progress is backfiring on the US and it’s international relationships as it appears to be not in interest of everyone. “You can not force feed your baby”. So how much more global giants, grown people, and countries that want to do things there way… Who is leaving these places. Opportunist or the people of these place? As an expatriate you just have to know that bubble of opportunity will be taken over by a local…

The 'fallen' city you are talking about is more developed than any city in India by far.
