When you have tried all the things and your headaches are still not better…..
You might need a transdisciplinary, multifactorial approach

Headaches are one of the most disabling symptoms after concussion, with many of our clients not able to be engaged in life because of them

And I spoke to client yesterday who had done ALL THE THINGS for 6 years: PT, psychology, acupuncture, functional medicine, traveled all over the country; and still having symptoms.

And sometimes the piece that is missing—integration!
Our nervous system, and our body, is a highly integrated system—one joint does not function alone, and one system does not function alone. So sometimes, just treating one at a time doesn’t quite do it.

This person post concussion found relief with a multifaceted approach including
—suboccipital myofascial release (in a way he could do on his own, too!)
—hand trace breathing for autonomic toning
—postural retraining

And this was just the PT aspect! He also had OT and psychology to layer on other pieces and train the brain and body.

Clinicians—we are talking about the whole pie in our free training next Tuesday—join us 5:00 PM PST or catch the recording—comment workshop below to RSVP.
