This is the way all instructional videos should be made. Concise, precise and to the point; no fluff. Thank you.

Cheers Rob.... Had the a6000 for 2 months and it's my first manual camera and I've learned a lot just by trial and error and watching videos.

Just to add a quick useful tip- you mention the difficulty in continually depressing the shutter 1/2-way down when zoomed in. (and I agree) what I've found works much better is to assign "AF ON" to the "AEL" button via "Custom Buttons--> AEL" this makes the AEL Button act identically to a 1/2-press of the shutter, which is referred to as "Back-Button Focus". While I think (& many agree) BBF is far superior in every situation to the 1/2-press shutter method, it may not be for everyone. Still, in regards to ease of use when using Focus Assist/Magnification, it is indisputably easier, both ergonomically & b/c the 1/2-press sensitivity is not necessary. Anyone interested should give it a try. (PS-if you wish to set up BBF Fully on a6000, make sure to turn "AF w/ Shutter" OFF after assigning "AF-ON" to AEL Button, then you are good to go!)

Thanks for the video. I tried to take pictures of two does and a fawn this morning but was shocked when I had red lines all over the shot! It turns out that I accidently hit the DMF button. Your video was helpful to explain DMF without getting bogged down in details! I ended up taking the deer picture with my phone! sniff

I'm obviously not alone when I say we really appreciate what you've done with this video. Very informative and helped me a bunch with understanding my a6000. If only I would have known this sooner!
