It's not a beginner camera it's just a budget friendly mirrorless cam. There's thousands of professionals that have shot with it and made a living. Great video though! Cheers

This video should be seen by all beginners with the a6000! It has helped me with the many confusing buttons and has leveled up my photography game.

Wow!!!! I have had my camera for almost a year and have picked it up a million times and put it down because the settings just weren't right!!! I came across your video today and set my camera exactly how you told me and immediately my shots are crystal clear and the color is picture perfect!

Thanks for this. There's so many settings, that I've just been following my interest with different short videos rather than trying to learn every setting. A lot of the settings you talk about are available through the "Fn" button. I think it helps for a new user to start there.

Terrific tutorial. I watched some done by others, and it was like they were in a race to get through each setting. You took the time to explain everything, which was really helpful. Thanks!

Thanks for making this video. I've had my camera for over a year but haven't used it much because I was lost on all the functions it had and what settings to use. Most other videos on YouTube were either way too far in-depth or not enough. Yours was a perfect balance, detailed and concise. I hit the like and subscribed ~ thanks again.

such a great tutorial for someone like me who doesn't understand cameras at all, detailed but concise.Thank you so much! I'd LOVE a similar tutorial for shooting (sports) video on the Sony a6000. I have to shoot my daughter surfing and keep accidentally changing the settings and don't know what I should go back to as kind of default settings. Thanks again.

Just bought my a6000 gently used for $223 at unclaimed baggage! Can’t wait to get to see how it shoots! Nice and sharp looking camera. Super helpful video! many settings and a little overwhelming, but this was super helpful!

Thanks for sharing the basic settings, so that I can find what works best for me. I am getting a Sony a 6100 for Christmas and I want to make sure that I can set it up for success. Though I have taken photos for quite a while--on a Nikon and then a few Canons--moving to a Sony was kind of my dream. However, I still want to follow my muse--and NOT worry about learning traditional photography--so anything that helps me channel the muse, but take decent photos and great video is what I was looking for. I was happy to find your video. Hopefully, you have given me what I need to keep the creative activity flowing. Thanks!

This video really freaking rocks. Thank you sooo much. Been about 15 years since I did photography, and dang I actually forgot a lot…. I’m now needing it for my business, and while I’m not a beginner, I really needed this for all the settings info, etc. thank you so much!

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am not so patiently awaiting my a6000 to come in the mail and wanted to start learning more about it. This was very helpful and at a speed that you can actually see what you're doing.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I had changed my ISO to 3200 to take photos of my son’s basketball senior season but I forgot to ever change the ISO back to a normal setting - until I watched your video. Plus, I learned other stuff that I will refer to later

Thanks a million. This camera has been sitting in my closet for a while ( got it as a gift). Ive always used Nikon so I was a bit lost ( of sort). Your video was the best. Perfect settings for wonderful pictures. Thank you 🙏

I think this video was a great walk through .. I am a beginner and know nothing about this camera. Your voice is calm and steady which helps to focus and retain content. My only suggestion would be to have something to actually focus on in front of the camera - the white screen does little to help see what you are changing .. even just a soda can. Otherwise, so helpful, thank you so much!

These beginner settings are awesome! I've had my camera for a couple of years but the settings I used (from a different YouTuber) didn't produce photos with this kind of awesome quality. Thank you for making this video!
