World War Three is almost here and only the West can stop it

Russian President Vladimir Putin is not afraid of Nato, the European Union or the United States. Nor is he worried about his invasion of Ukraine escalating into a nuclear war.

The West is not doing enough to save Ukraine. Our timidity is telling Russia – and China – that aggression will not be punished.

Stopping them now might be painful and difficult, but not as painful or difficult as stopping them after they have fully mobilised.

Not acting now could be the West’s most catastrophic mistake since 1938 and lead to unimaginable hardship.

On this issue I disagree with Bolt, even though on most other issues I don't. This issue is about unjustified NATO expansion. It was agreed previously with Russia that NATO would not put itself on Russia's border, and they have.

I somewhat agree, but it's not as simple as he's making it sound. Bolt doesn't really know what he's talking about here.
A no-fly zone would also, however, stop friendly units from taking off and bombing Russian armored assets. What he's talking about isn't a no-fly zone, it is air dominance of pro-Ukrainian air power over Ukrainian real estate. And, all that would do is make Russian forces launch more and bigger munitions and missiles from Russian soil.
As much as Putin is threatening a nuclear response, he's putting that on the West because anyone with a brain knows Putin would resort to nukes anyway as soon as allied NATO forces got involved and started dominating Russia's conventional forces.

The best way to stop this, Europe and the United States stop buying Oil from Russia, which would be a sanction that would stop Russia in their tracks, we ramp up oil production in the US, reopen the keystone pipeline, and we export our oil to Europe. Simple solution, however, Brandon does not want to entertain it.
