2:15 if you look closely at the mast, the cannonball carved out a gouge on the right side. The reason the mast falls to the left instead of the right is that masts are made of whole tree trunk sections, which are actually in tension on the circumference of the cross section and in compression in the centre. This allows for a comparatively slimmer and lighter mast to support the sideways bending load of the sails, and hence when the right side is gouged out, the left part of the mast which is still in tension pulls the mast over to the left. Just another example of POTC's insane worldbuilding.

I like at 1:02 when Mercer shows some emotion when Barbossa sidekicked him like a child and then swung his sword aroung, then abandons ship instead of continuing the fight. Mans didn't want no smoke cuz Barbossa sword skills are top tier....

I think it's funny how Beckett runs through the Endeavor to chase Jack, staying calm and calm while cannons fire everywhere. And a cannon almost caught Beckett's hand walking up the stairs, and Beckett didn't care. Respect 😅👌
