Foot Doctor Reacts To Most Bizarre Feet Ever Seen! #health #medical #viral
Показать описание
According to research in the American Journal of Physical Anthropology, up to 1 in 13 persons may have a midtarsal break in their foot similar to that of non-human primates. All feet have a joint in the center, between the ball and the heel, but for the majority of individuals, the ligaments around the joint are rigid, preventing the joint from flexing. The additional bend in apes' feet enables them to grasp tree branches. Humans, on the other hand, are believed to have evolved more stiff feet that serve as a lever to move us forward when we walk.
Nearly 400 humans were observed moving around the Boston Museum of Science barefoot, and the researchers discovered that 8% of those people possessed flexible midtarsal breaks
