Today I am going to share five (more) ways that you can look your best every day. I haven't done a video in this vein for a while so I am a LITTLE nervous I may have touched on some of things before HOWEVER...I have learned a lot and thought more about this whole idea and I do think that these tips and mindset shifts would be very helpful if this is a journey that you want to go on.

Celebrated 1 year sobriety in January. Not drinking has helped me love myself, want more for myself & knowing what I deserve. Anytime someone Celebrates an AA anniversary, I say, "Congratulations on loving yourself" I fully support self love ie: taking care of yourself.

Even though I'm pretty sure I'm much older than most of your subscribers (hello 65!!) I want you to know how much I appreciate the work you put into these videos. I learn something new every time. You've got me hooked on BIG shower days. Every time I don't feel like putting any effort or the bare minimum of effort into caring for myself I think of your videos and how you have inspired my to try to look my best and love myself even this late in the game.

For anyone struggling to get started, just commit to some really simple things. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. Your skin will LOVE you for it. Cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin. Use a salon quality shampoo and conditioner. Spend 5 minutes a day in prayer, reflection, meditation (whatever you do spiritually to center yourself). Start simple. Branch out from there as time and money allow. It has changed my life! 🙂

This spoke to my soul. I started a new job and the stress levels sent my cortisol levels through the roof. Ended up ‘comfort’ eating 15lbs of weight gain, which just added to the misery. Getting back on track now, needed to remind myself ‘keep doing what you do, keep getting what you get’. I wasn’t liking what I was getting so, I changed my perspective on the situation. Things are getting better

Going to bed earlier, cuz bishes I'm not 20 anymore lol. A full beat isn't necessary every single day, but take that caressing bath, go to the salon for a styling (p.s. it's cheaper than a cut and color) for some new ideas! Get it girlz!

Your content has helped me so much! I’m feeling sluggish and down while pregnant because of the belly weight gain. But I’ve found some dresses and joggers that help to flatter my new shape. I also got my hair done and feel more like myself mentally as well now ❤️

Great video Whitney. I want to add one more. (Clears throat) STOP sucking in your stomach! I used to do this subconsciously not knowing the damage I was doing to my body. It can make your lower abdomen area more poochy, put extra stress on your pelvic floor making those muscles weaker from the tension causing you to have bladder problems and weaker orgasms. Learn to breathe fully through your abdomen and diaphragm. It’s a game changer.

I only compare myself to myself yesterday. It’s been extremely beneficial for my mental health. Can’t wait for the planning video! I’m getting better, but it’s still a challenge with nursing school, 4 kids, and my husband. I try really hard to get myself some time in the mornings before I wake anyone up for school. There’s a huge difference in my attitude when I do that and work out before school every morning. My house is still a bit cluttered though. I have not mastered it all yet 😅

Whitney these videos are bomb! I am one of the people who found your channel in 2021 and I have been investing more intentionally in my self care. I agree that the the hair is SUPER important and transformative of your look. Getting a good hair cut is like the foundation and then mastering the weekly maintenance, even for those of us with curly hair 💕
