Perfect timing. I’ve been stressing out about not getting my workouts in. I’m the worst case scenario. Single mom, full time college student, now homeschool teacher (thanks Covid) and maybe soon back to working full time. This is great advice and I’m trying it!

This Heidi, single Mom with a full time career, totally needed to hear this ! The logistics are tough, I’ve been doing it but I want to be more dedicated to my workout time. That's exactly what i did was buy two kindles 4 my now 4 & 5 year old so that I could workout at home. Otherwise it would be a struggle. Finally lost the pounds I picked up from a job change since being quarantined. I was able to focus on my health, get back on track and back to a good routine again.

I do 30 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes during my 1 hour lunch break and 30 minutes after work . My health is my priority right now and on the weekends I go for a 30 minute walk with my son so I get 2 hours of physical activity . I do walking and aerobics so it’s not as strenuous but I love it . I work 50 hours, study full time and have a 3 year old . It’s posible . While I do my workouts my son is coloring or doing blocks . I work from home so I guess it’s easier . But I have been doing this for months so this is something I can stick to it . I have lost 32 lbs so far . I do my workouts at home except for the weekend . My favorite workout is walk with Leslie .

This is something everyone needs to hear - she did such a good job of breaking it down to really show that you CAN always find time to exercise if you make it a priority and schedule it!

I’m so glad you said what you said about gyms visits and C19. I picked up a severe dose of Pneumonia from a gym back in February and ended up in hospital, lost 10 kgs (59kg to 49kg @ 5’9”) even though I am super healthy + fit.. I have not been back since. A great wake up call. I hope your recovery was speedy. 🙏

This is one thing my therapist told me. Get. Calendar and schedule your time. It was the most helpful tiny piece of advice. And now I hear it from you. Thank you

Just got up at 5am UK time with puppy...kids back to school today & working from home as well as tonnes of chores to do! Lists...I have lists for everything! A little obsessive but it’s what helps me get through the day without been too frazzled🥴 I even add silly things like smoothie to make, sit ups, etc so that I don’t forget about me and things that make me feel good x
