Mexico has produced a staggering number of elite boxers. Nearly 150 professional world titles have been won by fighters from Mexico. Whilst they've enjoyed success in the pro ranks, in recent times Mexico's amateur fighters have struggled somewhat. They haven't won an Olympic medal since the 2000 Sydney Games. However, the Mexican Boxing Federation is looking to put this right in the years ahead and they've established a new Youth Development Programme to nurture young fighters.

Not Mexican. I'm Samoan. Mexicans got hard ass heads. Mexicans can endure a lot of pain. I haven't lost any of my matches(thankfully) but my hardest matches have been against Mexicans. Outside of boxing, people get the wrong idea about Mexicans, especially when trump is going around calling them rapist and murderers. The Mexican people are very good and prideful people. You can't get mad at the Mexicans for loving their heritage. Stay prideful Mexico.
