I love how Brian treats it like he's a hostage "It's been a pleasure" as he looks at some unknown figure in the corner. Yet, at the same time, he's got a genuine excitement to him that the original sessions are now a proper, fun, 'real product'. It's emblematic of the whole SMiLE project - upbeat yet with sombre under (and over)tones. It's the best ever true concept album and its long journey to release is fittingly representative of the American journey through innocence, industrialization, and experimentation in the album itself.

Greatest album of all time. Period. The fact that people can still make their own versions but still have the vision Brian had inside this album!! I could never thank Brian enough for this treasure of music. It certainly beats everything The Beatles ever did. And yes, that includes Sgt. Pepper's. Brian should feel proud knowing he made the two greatest albums of all time: Pet Sounds and Smile.

I have memories of my childhood back in the early 2000's that my mother would play The Beach Boys albums, it was always an experience to be able to appreciate Brian Wilson's genius thought his compositions. Years later I forgot that they even existed until suddenly I stumbled upon a video about Brian Wilson's greatest creation, "Pet Sounds". I was left in awe when I heard the whole album, I could not believe that those where the Beach Boys. Brian Wilson was exploring a complexity far beyond what was being done in music those days. I bought the record and soon discovered Smile. These albums have changed my life, they have changed me specially as a musician. God bless Brian Wilson.
