I did notice that with air drying, I tend to get weaker, damaged hair. I read into it and I guess my hair gets hygral fatigue easily. Blow drying my hair does in fact keep my hair strong and keeps breakage minimal. The faster my hair dries the better.

I get the sense this is straight hair advice. For one thing, drying using the method described would make my hair swell bigger than if I leave it air. My hair was longest and without damage back when it was always air drying therefore I'm skeptical.

Thank you. The longer my daughters hair grows the longer it takes to air dry and we needed a drying method that would not damage her hair but will also ensure she doesn’t leave the house for school with wet hair.

JUST A HYPOTHESIS: Is that one reason why some men get bald faster? (of course, taking genetics into account) but from what I've seen so far, most men don't blow dry their hair 😮

Just use a professional leave in conditioner like pureology and if you’re going to flat iron use a thermal spray.
