Great to see you both in good spirits! Thank you for sharing and being so genuine with these struggles. Maybe it would help to ask yourselves about the true cause of this pressure. Was it more money related, or simply about keeping your commitment of sticking to the overwhelming release schedule?
Your videos are REALLY good. For someone who has only been doing this for a little over a year, they are shockingly good. They are fun, lighthearted, engaging and so, so well edited! I think your regular viewers (myself included) already appreciate that much. If you put out 26 videos per year instead of 52, it would not diminish that appreciation at all.
Much love!

WOW you girls are the real deal being so honest about everything. One of my favorite sayings is “Your true wealth is you health”.

Thx for sharing! I’m twice your age & just started a lil channel but promised I would never try to post more than 1 video a week.
My husband & I just returned last week from our first extended trip to Thailand & Vietnam & as someone who has struggled w/anxiety there were a couple times I nearly cried & just wanted to go home. I had been dreaming of this trip & us traveling full time once my husband retires. I felt like such a failure in that I just am not sold on the idea that I can travel full time.
Just remember you only have one life & you gotta take care of that life or you will suffer when you get older (like I have).
Anyway I love your energy & authenticity! Plz take time for yourself & each other! It’s not worth traveling to see the world if you’re too tired to enjoy it!

You ladies have great personalities and mesh together very well. I usually only watch Thailand related video's but you're an exception. Take care of your health first and be happy in life. Thank you for this video and all of your hard work.

It's really difficult when everywhere you go is the first time you've been there because the pressure is to see and do everything. My first trip to Europe was on a 30 day Eurail pass and if it was Wednesday then this must be Belgium. Each time after that we went fewer and fewer places and stayed longer in each. To add filming and editing and posting on top of that is a lot! I'm so happy to hear that you're finding your groove and the pace that works for you. That said I've enjoyed all your videos!

Thanks for sharing your struggles. I love traveling but after 2-3 weeks, I'm exhausted and just want to go home. I'm not surprised you were exhausted after 3 months!! So yeah, please take your time off.

All your videos so far have been amazing. Now you realised this is a business and have come up with a business plan (eg 1 video every 2 weeks) your videos will be better and your channel will grow. Looking forward to coming along for the ride

The hardest thing I have found about my mental health is it creeps up and hits hard. Thank you for letting us in on your struggles as well. The videos that you guys put out are amazing and you should be very proud of what you do. I’m adamant that your dreams will come true and you both will be hugely successful vloggers. P.S come to Australia you will have a great time and I haven’t noticed many travel vloggers posting content about Australia. I look forward to your next video.

Staying longer in each location will make your videos more interesting and you’ll be able to discover a lot more gems. This is the longest dose of the magical Rumours T-shirt so super duper bonus points are awarded. Looking forward to the new and improved content and happier campers. Your hard work last year was amazing and much appreciated 👏👏👏so good luck and keep going 🍀☕️relax a little and smell the coffee…. I’m off for two weeks in Cambodia shortly and writing this from Saigon….so your travels will be food for thought 🥂

Hi Jill and Hannah,

I just discovered your channel through this video, and it’s so relatable! Thanks for being so honest and transparent.

I’d like to share my own experience to give another perspective to anyone considering this lifestyle. I’ve been traveling full-time for almost six years now, and for me, slowing down is the key to making it sustainable. I constantly have to remind myself to slow down even more. The lack of routine when you travel can make it really challenging.

I’m currently traveling by motorcycle through the Americas and started a YouTube channel in 2024 as well, just a few months after yours. The rhythm that works for me is stopping two to three days a week to edit videos and do a bit of online work. This way, I can really focus on traveling the rest of the week without thinking about editing or work. Posting one video per week is still tough, but like you, I really enjoy doing it. That said, if I ever feel like it’s affecting my health, I’m ready to switch to posting every two weeks.

I’m also trying to take longer breaks. I’m in the middle of one now, staying two months in the same city in Mexico, and it feels great. I can’t wait to get back on the road! What works well for me during these breaks is volunteering. Here, I’ve been volunteering at a hostel and a guesthouse. In exchange for a few hours of work each week, I get free accommodation and have colleagues, which helps me meet people and feel part of a little community for a while.

I hope you find the perfect rhythm for yourselves — it seems like you’re doing a great job already!

❤❤ you and your honesty. It's really hard to do what you're doing away from friends and family and routines. Take time for yourselves and don't put so much pressure on yourselves. We'll always be here waiting.

Hey J & H, love your honesty and being real with us. Ya'll are right on track with where you need to be right now, and always take good care of yourselves first and foremost. Be human first, love yourselves first, and everything else can wait. Feeling like a poopeh is no bueno! 😅
Looking forward to seeing you guys in Mexico 🇲🇽
Asta luego!

First, thank you for sharing. Personally I think a two week schedule is still a lot, you could even go to three weeks per video with the occasional short video in between, that would still be ok.

And in regards to meeting people: use the resources you have ... your fans. By now I am pretty sure you have people all over the world watching, and a lot would be happy to meet you two and show you around. So use that.

Stay healthy and happy

Please continue to take as much time as you need. Too many people take the editing process for granted and think it's so simple and quick. Appreciate the realness. Not to mention sharing about anxiety. I darn sure know how that feels like. A few years after that official diagnosis (2000) came the confirmation of being on the spectrum. The combination of those can be, well, not exactly a walk in the park.
Anyway, take care ladies. Also please please don't forget your viewers support etc and hopefully they mean alot to you.
