I shoot weddings on 4K 60fps and still get overheating issues after 20min too. 😢

Wow thank you very much. Have you found a camera that does not heat up in these parameters?

Typical and I like it.

Always bring us the information that others won't.

Are you keeping the camera?

Hello please, how long are you able to record 4k60fps on your R5C?

Hi, maybe the 40 mins claim is from a cold start and with your use it had already had a bit of heat in it before starting your roll?

Thank you. I think this information, plus the lack of ALL-I, makes this a no-go…for me.

You gotta open your flip screen to get the heat from the screen of the hot camera, it will help

What about 4k 60fps in IPB Light instead of standard? Can it handle long format video shooting? I would assume the light compression and half the file size is as reliable as Standard 4K 25?

I bought brand new Canon R6ii few days ago and spot like 3 stuck pixels on rear LCD screen… is it normal or should I return it? I know diffrent topic hehe but just curious if You experienced / noticed stuck pixels on your cameras? Im talking at the moment only about rear LCD.

What if not to long recording.. if i want to shoot 4k60 but like cut to cut for commercial usage.. 2-3 min per roll/shoot.. is that the r6 ii can handle it for a day production with no problem?

How did you upload such beautiful HDR quality video to YouTube?! The one who had HRD mobile (all recent iPhones) can see this HDR quality in your video. Pls make a video on that too, how did you record and uploaded

Thanks for the video. I was going to purchase an R6 Mark ii as a second camera to my R5 but now I’ll pass. In case you didn’t know, the R5 doesn’t over heat at all now that it has a “high heat” mode setting. All it took was a firmware release 🤷‍♂️

From a cold start I got in 60fps was 47mins with the lcd pressed against the body and then I let it cool and opened the lcd to the side and got 52 mins. This was in a room at 69 Fahrenheit and recorded in clog3. I also got it to record in 24fps after it overheated in 60fps and the temp gauge showed it was cooling down. That stinks you got the result you did.

consider that overheating depends on ISO too!

Unbelivible... I am fan of canon, I have a less powerfull EOS 70D... Probably you can talk with canon. They should give you a good solution
