Millennials fighting bad financial stereotypes

Financial expert Chris Hogan reacts to an 'encouraging' new report on the generation's savings habits.

As a 20 year old I do not have 100k in the bank account but I think the older generations overlook our financial foundation because of the internet. Even the negative social media and technology had put a certain name over Millennials but there are great ones that have programs like Ricky Gutierrez who y'all need on your show.

Ricky Gutierrez has youtube videos daily about investing and a Facebook group where over a thousand of teenagers and young adults are investing and communicating of successes failures and tactics to learn to gain loads of profit when we start earning more income.

The reality is seeing your grandfather and father retire from a union job where they worked hard in a trade making good money when things were cheaper with a sweet pension and higher than most social security money and you live in a 10 buck a hour America where if you go to school it has to be it or health field as a business degree is a waste where vehicles cost 3 to 6 times of what they cost in 1980 with expensive health insurance that's a mortgage payment and if lucky a pension that might be there latter if the company doesn't fold after paying the CEO huge bonuses but probably a 401k that could be crap when needed. People once mattered in the US but now it's all about percentages, the % of what you're taxed, of the profit from what you buy, you're just a number on a profit and loss chart now people.

And how many of these "millennials" have these savings account simply because of their parents "creating" these accounts with their own
