This phone has me really excited for LG again. Haven't used one since the G7 and this reminds me of when Lg always used to push boundaries

Good vid. I've only had my 8x for a day and already I'm in love with it. It does have a learning curve however. There are virtually no instructions on how to use the included gamepad software, and when I called lg tech support, the rep couldn't locate any instructions. So, I'm going to make a video dedicated to that subject.

For those reading this, for the gamepad to plant itself on the main screen, which is not just more comfortable, but required to create custom gamepad layouts that work with any game, you have to open game launcher, then move it to the second screen, THEN select launch gamepad, and then the actual gamepad will automatically open on the main screen in the correct orientation. Then launch your game from game launcher and it will open on the second screen, usually in the correct orientation. If it is upside down simply swipe down from the top, er, uh, swipe up from the bottom of the top screen...confused yet? ...and select "flip 180". And voila, you can now kick a$$ in pubg or cod mobile. Don't thank me, just send money.

I’m not sold on the whole folding phone concept. I mean I have something that works very well for what I need it to do. This case though is a little bit more interesting as you have the option to choose either or which I am always thankful for.

I'm waiting for my Sprint variant after finally getting ready to retire my HTCU11. Comes in a few days. This phone is the closest thing to that beloved unit. This video made me examine all my old abandoned wired headphones like Bose buds and Samsung AKG buds and I'm happy they have no bend. Thanks for pointing that out!

LGsus performs another miracle!

G8X dunks on every other sub-1000 phone right now. I'd take LG G8X over iPhone 11, Google Pixel 4, or Galaxy S10 even without the dual-screen case. The case INCLUDED for $699 is unbelievable. This is the most feature-rich phone for its price. Don't buy anything else unless you plan to totally ball-out with a Galaxy S10+5G or Note10+5G.

As a V40 owner on a GSM network in North America (V50 only came to CDMA here) I'll be waiting to see what the V60 does with this concept. Ideally, it would have no notch, reduced bezels, higher resolution, higher refresh rates, bigger battery, protective glass over the rear cameras, and a brighter preview window. Maybe even a stylus like the LG Stylo, but that's unlikely.

G8X is formidable. It punches above its weight at $2000 foldables. It will only take some small tweaks to make the V60 the undisputed king of multitasking devices.

Great video. I'm very interested in the modular case to extend the screen. Just distracted by the thick space between them. Also interested in the foldable Razor. Tired of large phones. So foldable or expandable phones could be the answer.
