Definitely happy that I got this phone. Not only did my service plan offer a protection plan but LG themselves offer a two year protection plan on the phone itself. This is a phone that is flying under everyone's radar.

LG honestly has been innovative since media phones (I miss the EnV), they just don’t shove their product in your face through saturated market advertising.

I own one. First few days impression. Comparing it to the Samsung S10, my previous phone.

1. Love the dual screen. Only a handful of apps and certain browsers can be used. Whale is a dual btowser app.
2. Slower speed than my Samsung S10.
3. Speakers are not as loud.
4. Charging is horrendously SLOW. No fast charging, even if you charge the phone directly without the case.
Nice magnetic connecting port, but you need to have several specific USB-C to LG G8X adapters for each place you want to charge. (Home, car, work.)
5. Camera is much better on the S10, but the G8X will let you review a picture and have the camera on ready for a surprise shot.
6. Speaker is much louder on S10.
7. Phone calls are better on S10.

I love the dual screen. Great to watch Youtube and browse or play a game at the same time seeing both on the big screen. Before, Youtube was a little PIP in the corner.

It is quite noticible slower than the S10, but that dual screen makes me stay with the G8X.
