it helped me, I am using to external monitor and there was no sound neither of course coming from the monitors, but nor on jack output. I fixed this using the advice of this video. THX again. Big THX!

My system deleted all other audio devices and chooses HDMI as its only default device, i can only get sound now if i connect it to a HDMI thing like television to laptop.. please help D:

For me the default option can't be selected for the headphones option whereas it only enables for the speaker. Kindly help me to fix it

How to make this permanent? I have to repeat these steps every time I turn off and on the PC, and even when I wake it from sleep. It always goes back to a monitor connected with HDMI and I have to repeat these steps. Thanks!
