You have a fabulous set-up Karen! I love that it can easily turn into a guest bedroom. It was great to have a little nosey around your room 😂

Hi Karen, what fabulous use of space. The Murphy bed is a brain wave and looks so impressive. Your storage wardrobe is huge - and so well organised. It was most enjoyable seeing all of your bibs and bobs (ie sewing supplies) - most of which I also have in my sewing room. I have a dedicated sewing room plus a combination office / art room as I also dabble in drawing and watercolour. It was fun to see the similarities between your sewing room and my sewing room on the opposite sides of the globe. Good luck with your project dress a girl sewing.🌸xx

Hi Karen! I love seeing people who have as many sewing accessories as I do, but I call them necessities definitely because they're needed every time I sew.😅❤😅😅

Thanks so much for sharing, Karen. It's always fun to see how everyone deals with the (usually increasing) paraphernalia we all accumulate as sewists. The Murphy bed is so great! ❤

Love how your sewing room turned out. So nice to see what’s behind the camera. That cutting table with collapsible legs is inspired! Thanks for taking us for a tour.

Your sewing room turned out fantastic. I wanted to put wheels on my sewing table but couldn’t find any that would fit. My sewing table was up against my window. It was difficult to pull it away from the window so I could get around it. Tables with wheels were quite expensive and really nothing was wrong with my cutting table. Instead I went to Target and got bins & hamper with wheels for under my table. Now I can just roll them out and it makes moving my table so much easier. I cut a pants pattern yesterday and it was so easy and wonderful being able to walk around all 4 sides. I need to buy some wall thinking things for patterns.

I love your videos and watching you create clothes that I would make. We live in different countries but am sure you would be a sewing friend if we were neighbours. Thank you Have a lovely weekend. Ps I see myself creating a room similar to yours. Guest room, office and sewing.

Your happy place❤ I would need a comfy chair to review my patterns and listen to music. One day :-)

Thanks. Way more going on in there! That Murphy bed turned out so great.

I am heartened to hear your comments about the small jumbles you have going on in a couple of your containers. I am very challenged to keep things corraled or even to decide where things should be kept. - Kelly

Thank you for showing us your sewing/guest room! Love the Murphy bed and how big the closet is! You are so organized and that's a huge help in getting things done, not having to spend time looking for things. I did not know there was such a thing as that Centipede and now you've got me wondering if that would work for me, as I currently cut things out on my bedroom floor. The antique sewing table your husband refinished is just beautiful! You mentioned the store-bought bias tape you might get rid of - I'm making my own bias tape today for the first time from the fabric I'm sewing with and wish I'd done it before, but that store-bought tape might still be useful for something like binding placemats, coasters or potholders, if you were to use scraps to make something like that - that's what I've used it for, since it doesn't need to be soft for those uses. Thank you again for the "Grand Tour, " it was great!!!
