New Sewing Room Tour!!

In this video I am inviting you inside my new sewing space for a chat while I show you how I have been setting things up in my new area for creating all things Bee in my Bonnet.
Of course it's always a work in progress and I am forever arranging and organizing and then re-arranging and re-organizing but still...

When I moved to town after my husband died, I finally got all my sewing things together for the 1st time. Surprise..40 totes of mostly fabric..3of them held yarn..2 held crochet yarns..batting had been stored in a new garbage can, but leftover pieces would fill another one. I had no idea. Your set-up is quite orderly and together. Wood furniture is lovely with cheerful colours. Great idea! I hung a large batting which covered a new couch, as a quilt block holder. Found 2 solid wood bookcases that hold quilt books..patterns..some magazines. Been sewing since I was11. Now at 78 I still love to sew.

Lori, you and Mr. honey have done such a marvelous job on your new home. Each room is a delight to the eyes, and so inspiring! OOOO.MMMM.GGGG. I was literally laughing out loud at the joy built into these craft rooms. You were coming out of the crochet room and I shouted at the screen "Where is the Cross Stitch Room?!?!" I love how well thought out all of the spaces are and work so very well since you are working for your craft. I'm sure that really allows the creativity to flow easily. We've been slowly downsizing the things in our home and more rooms are becoming available and I jokingly told hubby I could now put up a design wall in one of the room to keep my kitties from helping destroy my work. He said, "You'll have three rooms and the loft in no time." My response was, "ok let's get on it! Oh and the garage for my long arm!" Thank you so much for sharing your inspiration. I love how you've kept an old style charm to everything. It feels so warm and welcoming.
