poland was right all along, germany called poland alarmist, but the german excuse for getting entangled with russian energy was that russia could be transformed through trade, ???

Poland is playing a leading role in the defence of Ukraine and we all should follow Poland as they know the Russians better than we do.

As a Yank, I’d much rather listen to this news than anything in the US.

What is this guy saying? "Russians are suffering and retreating, but they are making advancements"?
So Ukrainians are just happily enjoying?
Be more pragmatic and give us actual information and analysis. People are not idiots

Poland learnt horrible lessons through history. Can completely understand their stance. I wish the west did more.

Given 400 years of Russian invasions into Poland, little wonder that the Poles are increasing their defence spend from over 2% GDP to 4%. Their armored land forces are larger than Uk, France and Germant combined. Investments being made all round though the priorities are air defense, land forces and least of all, the navy.

This guy contradicts everything he says. Russia has used 97% of its armed forces, Running out of Tanks and suffering massive casualties. Then says Russia is mounting a large scale attack. Me thinks there are a few Porkies being touted about. Then adds Ukraine need to decide on pulling back gracefully hmm. Why if they are doing so well and inflicting massive casualties on Russia. He got one thing right Russia are manufacturing Weapons at a faster rate than the West can. One report stated it takes the West 2.5 years now to produce large missiles. And head of NATO said he will ask arms companies to do an extra shift.

It not just Poland but also Baltics, Scandinavians, all west Slavic country and South Slavic country.
It is also big effort from USA, UK.
I must say that this is heart warming to see our alliances to support weaker and smaler Ukraine against big and agresive Russia.
Ukraine must win.
Greets from Poland

Unlike Belarus and the Baltic states, Poland was never part of the Soviet Union. However, it has about 250km of border with Kaliningrad, which is sovereign Russian territory.

I’m glad Poland will soon be No1 army in Europe. I think they will actually have the backbone to use it not like the other fence sitters in Europe

And Georgia is in South, With already occupied 20% by Russia in 2008, what we see now is lack of reaction from west back in 2008 on Russian aggression on Georgia.

Quite aside from their strong military assistance, Poland has also been extraordinarily welcoming and generous to Ukrainian refugees.

The polish president deserves respect for knocking on the doors to the Kremlin asking Putin to please stop the war in Ukraine, that's more than most would probably do.
