If a guy does what she's referring to, I've always seen that quickly lead to a divorce with the women freaking out saying he's not the man I married.

The truth will come out like this guy is saying.
It's not a wise strategy or good idea at all to act like someone you're not out do things for the woman you're wanting to marry trying to win her over to marry you by acting like someone you're not and doing things that she'll think you'll always want to do with her but you only plan to until you get married.

Bad idea. Don't be fools, brothers.
Be the real man you are, don't hide all your flaws because she's going to find out anyway, but sure if you haven't or won't overcome them for sure that she'll know she's gonna have to live with it since she'll be living with you if she gets married.
Otherwise it may bother her too much when she finds out afterwards not realizing she was signing herself up to marry you with that.
You'd be asking for bigger problems in the long run if you don't work it out first or let her know upfront, but there's no good sense in giving someone the false impression of who you are if you want them to truly love you and be with you for who you are.
