I don't personally care whether people are gay or trans or whatever, but I DO MOST CERTAINLY care about that stuff being even discussed in schools, especially elementary and middle schools. Kids don't need to be thinking of who they might want to have sex with someday when they're too young to even understand what having sex or being sexually attracted to others really implies and entails.

sexuality doesn’t need to be taught in school because kids shouldn’t have to even worry about that sort of thing. if sexuality is “natural, ” then it should come naturally, not be taught to happen. school is about teaching basic education; such as math, ELA, extracurriculars, social studies, history, etc.

if a child sees that they feel differently from the standard and want to pursue their feelings, then they should be allowed to do so in safe spaces accordingly.

i’m all for self-expression, but the whole point of discovering who you are is that it’s a personal journey.
