It's really mind-boggling how turbulent world history really is. When you think about it, Mexico's story is not that much different than the rest of today's countries. I am talking about violence and betrayal.

You forgot to mention that Francisco I. Madero was assassinated by General Victoriano Huerta (the US ambassador to Mexico gave him the green light) wich later became a dictator himself and only staid in power until WW1 since he was pretty cozy with the German Empire.
