However, they're fortunes rose and fell like the tides with their successes often being fleeting due to internal infighting and spreading their forces too thin. I have been reading so many books on this era & area for my intended novel, but was simply overwhelmed with all the names, dates, battles, nations, & "facts". Thanks a zillion for this short vid! Great pronunciations and even better thank you for the clarity, especially about the later period of the empire. (I think the Peoples of the Sea must have allied with the Kashka, remnants of the Arzawa, and maybe be refugees from Wilusa to finally burn Hattusa.
