Hey Ryan! A couple of audio tips for you. The reason the DJI MIC 2 sounds funny is you have noise cancelling turned on, you can tell by the yellow light on the side. Press the power button once and it will change to blue or green depending on whether you are recording to the Pocket 3 or just the transmitter. Pres it again and it goes yellow again with that hideous noise cancelling.

To make things super easy, with very little inconvenience, you can also plug in your lav mic into the DJI mic 2, using it as just a recorder. A very compact recorder with 32 bit float which means never needing to set the audio level as it can boost nothing to perfect and massively over modulated to normal.

You don’t need your Tascam anymore.

If you want any more advice let me know. I expect the Pocket 3 is too wide to be used as your main green screen camera? It does record a superior image though.

My best tip with the video settings for it is to turn the sharpness and noise reduction to -2. I covered all of this in my review of it a few months ago. 😊
