If anyone is on the fence about making this, let me tell you right now it’s a game changer. Bread this cheap with this high of protein content that tastes this good is mind blowing. My wife and I finished the first batch last night and now I’m going to try and get creative with proofing into different styles. Once I saw you deconstructed a Josh recipe, I knew it was going to be good. There’s plenty of anabolic food channels on YouTube but yours has become my go to for everything.

These buns are perfect ! Last week I made a hole in them and put some of Greg's Boston Creme filling in there. Came out super tasty, this week I'm having them as sausage sandwiches and chicken sandwiches. These are it 🔥🔥🔥

Another fire staple Nick!! Thanks my boi!🤘 These buns are so freaking good especially after they sit for a day. Better than the flavor is the texture! It's like a cross between a bagel and an english muffin as far as chewiness.

I used the dough setting on my bread machine and they came out perfect. The bread machine is so much easier than hand and having to grease a seperate bowl! After 1.5 hours you are putting rolls on trays.
- Add the Tangzhong after you have added all the other ingredients into the bread machine pan
- I used bread flour instead of all purpose. I like the extra gluten for chewiness and it seems to raise more.
- I doubled the recipe and it was the perfect size for the machine
- I didn't bother with the egg glaze, beautiful golden brown without it.
- I also added 2 teaspoons of sugar so the yeast would have food. Malt and sugar made the dough rise awesome! The yeast eat the sugar, so don't sweat adding a tiny amount of sugar.

Honestly this blew me out of the water. Made these tonight to use as hamburger buns and was absolutely stunned at how amazing these were.

I didn’t use the malt powder and substituted it with brown sugar. these were the fluffiest, tastiest buns I’ve ever had. I don’t think I’ll ever want to buy store buns again.
