I had an interpreting instructor go into a doctor's appointment and let out a loud, stinky fart.
She goes: oh, my goodness, I completely forgot you could hear that.
The interpreter goes: yeah, and I can smell too 🤣

This is seriously hilarious!! The parents of my best friend in first grade were deaf and I can just imagine their conversations. The entire family would sign and I had no idea what they were saying. I shall now imagine that their conversations consisted of this!

I love this movie and how it shows the universal parent child family bond in regards to the protagonist and her familial relationships. As to of why Emilia Jones does not have an Oscar herself for this, I dunno. I look forward to the rest of her career.

Hahaha my Dad’s hearing aids arrived today and because he’s a sass master he went, “Hey who knew farts made noise?” Reminded me of this scene. lol

(Yes my dad knew farts made noise. Deafness runs in the family but he wasn’t born with his hearing loss.)
