It's no mystery why young people feel this country is uniquely horrible. This is what they hear from university professors, the media, the entertainment industry. And it's now moving down into high schools, elementary schools and even pre-school. Individuals who hate themselves never do well in life. We are destroying ourselves.

After retiring from the US Marines I taught High School in urban poor very ethnically diverse Louisville, KY. I had a number of Cuban kiddos in my class and when Castro died, none came to school for the rest of the week. It seemed the whole neighborhood had a days long blowout party and no one was fit to drive the kids to school. I asked one what was one takeaway his dad had. "Castro finally became a good communist."

I attended a briefing by Viktor Belenko (the Soviet pilot who in 1976 defected with his Mig-25 Foxbat) not long after he arrived in the United States. The first words he said were "How can you allow all these Communists in your media!?" We all roared with laughter!

Bill is finally seeing and pointing out what many people have been pointing out for 40 years or more ... and it's great to see! There's being politically left, in an Western sense, which I generally disagree with but with good faith actors you can have the conversation.
