Let's talk about a long-term problem rooted in the systemic corruption of the Chinese Communist Party. Tofu Dreg is infamous for its poor construction quality due to rampant corruption in China.

Whereas contractors work with governments to make profits. Bribery and political motivations trump safety. And in the end, people suffer without any accountability from the government.

Including the most recent case of a Qiqihar roof collapse, where a girls' volleyball team was practicing. The aftermath pins the blame on parents not cooperating. They want the families to stay silent amid tragedies, rather than be allowed to know the real answers.

If you watch video of the rescue teams, they are picking up bags of Pearlite and passing them to each other as they try to uncover the girls, You can clearly see that the bags are not as heavy as they would be if soaked with water, they can use one hand to lift and pass, SO, , Yes the bags did add extra weight, but the real problem is how the roof was built, that it detached like that and fell,
