The Cars Awards sponsored by Absa are back! Now in its 8th year, Cars Awards is a unique motoring awards program as it includes you, the consumer, and you have your say who takes top honours.

In this video, Dave Taylor explains how the competition works, shares insights into the testing process and announces the finalists in all 13 categories. There'll be 39 cars under the microscope when we head to Gerotek Testing Facility in early November. Surprised the Urban Cruiser was in there. Must be a token candidate. Its a Grand Vitara but with less of a warrantee, lower spec and much higher price.

Okay so I dont know about you guys but a car named "The Quartermaster" 2:28 is sexy AF. imagine being at a party & asking some every F-boy in skinny jeans "what do you drive?" & They respond shamelessly "I drive a Polo Vivo" then you announce with class "I drive a Quartermaster" & watch how every pair of panties hit the floor.

If we can build foreign cars on our shores, why can't we build a proudly SAn car, even if it's an entry level one like your Vits, S-Presso's for example. I mean, if we can build military equipment such as Marauders and Rooivalks, etc, why aren't we building proudly SAn cars?
