Erin's driving lesson: Todays lesson is after a 6 week gap. So we revisited crossroads and dealing with clearance. The area we were driving in is very congested with parked cars, and dealing with clearance when an oncoming vehicle turns up can be a challenge.

I've passed over 4 months ago. I'm still watching these videos. I guess all drivers are still learning. Erin did well. I struggled with clearance at the start but always planning well before has helped me. Keep focus. Don't focus on one thing. It isn't easy but you'll get there. Thanks for your videos Aman.

Well done Erin you coped really well with all the obstacles you encountered. Congrats also for passing your theory test. Aman your arm - ouch!

Great driving Erin, and after 6 weeks of no driving, dam, that was good 😇 The whole clearance thing is easily worked on, I guess part if it is remembering to do it, looking ahead, planning ahead, and use that passenger mirror, and passenger window, learn how to judge how close you are to parked cars and obstacles 🙏

Erin is such a lovely driver and I’ve no doubt she will smash her mock test once these small things are ironed out

Erin's, good smoothed driving! looked relaxed and confident, be proactive, looking for potential hazard!. Some of your task today1 dealing #roundabouts, #crossroads and clearance. Shouldn't be difficult with you. Wish you well.😊

When I did my lessons I would use the distance from the side mirrors to whatever was on the left/right to judge how close or far away I was so I could keep good clearance. Also I noticed Erin doesn’t do as many regular mirror cheeks; doing more regular mirror checks is so useful because you can see if there’s any cars approaching closely or motorbikes/cyclists who might come up suddenly

I had that exact same thing happen to me! I’d had a few lessons since driving with my bf and thought I was going to impress him and then I stalled 6 times 🙃 but the next time I went out I got so much better at using the accelerate

I absolutely love Aman, your personality is just so fun and pure. Plus, your little giggles sometimes really does add a smile to my face. I have been getting more into this style of content, just to watch out for the mistakes and improvements which I, myself can improve on to make myself better too (when the time comes) which is why this is the perfect channel for that. 😁It's a great watch everytime. Plus, with that arm... hope it's started to heal more now! 🙂

Nice lesson and clearance isn't actually as big of a problem in my opinion as the approach speed to some hazards and junctions, sharp braking and switching into 2nd gear earlier. Maybe a way to fix the clearance would be sticking to the middle line and watching how the road curves sometimes and sticking to the middle line, rather than looking at the parked cars themselves as you can avoid getting too close to the left by sticking to the right if that makes sense

Erin was actually really good on the hill start. Something I struggled with at first.

When you have to stop on an uphill road, you can also hold the vehicle on the clutch, which requires more experience and means more clutch wear, just hold the clutch at the bite point and release the brake, the car will not roll back, now press the gas and release the clutch to move off.

American here - this neighborhood looks exactly like Queens in NYC. If she passes she’ll be fine over here

For burning wounds we use a spray called "Oximed". It is really good and you won't get any marks on skin after healing.

3:04 and 5:11 for example, braking feels quite sharp at the end where it doesn't need to be. I think she could let the car roll forward a bit more and creep, but good clutch control on the uphill bit just after that second timestamp

I think it's unfortunate that she can't frequent the lessons a bit more, but as with most people, she will definitely get there. Maybe just a bit longer than others.

Has Saima rebooked her test?
