Overrated cities and where to go instead ❌✅ PART 2

Europe has an abundance of fantastic places, but also a couple “overrated” places, in my humble opinion then of course.

I decided to make a part 2 of this video to show you guys some more alternatives for 5 of these overrated cities. The alternatives I chose have different reasons for me picking them.

Split - Mostar
Croatia is a beautiful country, but in the last few years it has gotten way too touristy, Split especially. Bosnia & Herzegovina however is a incredible hidden gem of a country, with the most beautiful city being Mostar!

London - Warsaw
If you want to visit a big metropolitan city, but you want to feel safe as well… Visit Warsaw instead of London! I admit, London is a very exciting city with some amazing areas, but I would choose Warsaw over London every day.

Milan - Bucharest
Milan lacks a bit in atmosphere and warmth for me. However, the architecture is amazing! For some reason Bucharest came to me as an alternative because I found the architecture (in the old centre) quite alike and it’s a much cheaper, safer, cleaner, and nicer city in my opinion!

Vienna - Bratislava
I have a hate-love relationship with Vienna. I find a gorgeous city, but somehow every time I visit Vienna I find myself getting annoyed by rude people. This rarely happens to me in other cities, just in Vienna 😂 I would give Bratislava as an alternative because it’s super close to Vienna and even though it’s not as beautiful, it’s much nicer to be in and much cheaper!

Monaco - Perast
Monaco is nice for a day trip and if you don’t buy anything. It doesn’t really have much more to offer than expensive stores, expensive yachts, and expensive restaurants. Perast in Montenegro is 10 times more beautiful and 10 times more affordable!

Wtf? I am born and raised in Bratislava, but Vienna is infinitely superior. You can see everything in Bratislava within one day. Vienna is huge, more beautiful and has got much more nice buildings to see.

London and Vienna are NEVER going to be overrated! Only if you expect streets to have fountains of chocolate and roofs to be made of gold and diamonds and the trees be made of marshmallows. Otherwise no, few cities in the world can rival London and Vienna is simply one of the greatest cities in this planet.

In fact, London is severely under rated.
You could literally spend 10 years there and everyvday have something new, somewhere new, and be amazed. With sights and activities that are not only specific to london but have history.

Very random comparisons. You would go to London or Warsaw for very different reasons so it doesn’t work as a comparison

Mostar is beautiful but it won’t replace the beachy coastal feel of Spli, Croatia. Also the reason you go to Monaco is for the riches, so Yes, it may be overrated but that is kinda the point, Perast is a totally different very slowed down and peaceful. Visit both.

Vienna will never be overrated. Ever. You have the museums, the people, the fine dining and the timeless buildings. Same goes with London.
Bucharest is fine, but Milan has some beautiful architecture, both being timeless.

Bratislava can't be a better alternative instead of Vienna, but of course It is a nice place to visit

For Film Noir Paris - Algiers
For charming Paris in winter - Lyon
Barcelona - Marseille
Venice - Piran
New York - Hamburg
Berlin - Düsseldorf
Tokyo - Kuala Lumpur
Taj Mahal - Lahore
Istanbul - Sarajevo
Vienna? Add Bratislava to your trip! Not an alternative, but special in it‘s own right.

You won‘t be disappointed.

Calling Milan overrated is the biggest crime ever. Milan has everything that make Italian cities great combined. Except that mediterranean and a little bit chaotic flair, for that (and of course for food) i prefer Naples.

Your recommendation has made me travel to multiple places with my family and i respect your opinion since they're all great places. Those reading this. If ur european i recommend travelling with a car so you can explore lots of places. Done it 4 times with my family and its the reason why i love traveling.

Bro wtf Im from croatia but you cant just compare two diffrent countries like that at least I mean not that I don't like mostar dont get me wrong but doag thats two very deffrent towns with their beauty. Guys you need to visit as many places you can, travelling is amaizing and all these towns are beautifull in their own reasons people visit them for a reasone.
