PRACTICE A LOOSE SERVICE MOTION

Warning!!...This is ONLY for practice...be sure to swing slowly otherwise the racket will fly out of your hand!

Practice a loose service motion by only holding onto the racket with your thumb, index, and middle finger

Be sure you’re only holding on with the tips of your fingers (don’t have a death grip)

The lack of strength will force you to use a loose loop in the back and not muscle the ball

Try this and let me know what you think

If you’re a coach this is the best way I know to loosen up someone’s serve while they actually hit a ball!!!

Again, be sure to swing slowly otherwise the racket flies out of your hand and can break your racket!!!

old one but still one of the best, you can even put the 2 fingers youre not using under the butcap and by that hold the racket in the normal grip

That’s true, no lie, my coach in Italy Federica bonsignori (former #28 in the world WTA) literally said this. She held the grip super loose on all her strokes. Only held with a few finger. Major key 🔑

This is brilliant, one of the best tips I've heard.

dont be too loose it will highly stress your wrist, use your locked forearm to support the impact forces and racket weight
