This to me doesn't sound well planned as there sounds like there was no actual plan for "when' the inexperienced one should go and seek help if things went wrong... THREE HOURS of waiting before he did. I very much doubt they would have wanted him to wait that long!

Don't understand the draw to these cave dives. What are they expecting to find, a hidden treasure? Everything is just a bunch of wet rock.
