Crash Course Film History Preview

Beginning April 13th, join Craig Benzine (the internet's WheezyWaiter) for 16 weeks of Film History right here on Crash Course. He'll look at the history of one of our most powerful mediums. Film has the ability to communicate with images, entertain, move us, frighten us, and so much more. From A Trip to the Moon to Captain America: Civil War, the history of film is really a history of humanity and Craig will do his best to lead us all through it.

I am so excited for this series, I absolutely love movies and everything about them! Some people scoff at the idea of studying film history as if it's a waste of time or not serious, but films say SO MUCH about the time they were made, the time they portray, and explore some of life's biggest questions... the possibilities with movies are literally endless. Man, I can't wait!

I can say that I am legitimately freaking out right now! I study film studies and film history is my biggest and most threatening exam, I've already spent a lot of time longing for Crash Course Film History to be a thing so it can help me with my studies at university the same way Crash Course Biology saved me in school!
