Good vid, I've been using this for a while in conjunction with a low pit time car setup - works a treat until you get to series 10/11 then all drivers are starting near the back so more in race strategy is needed... I don't understand why people call it cheating though, it's just optimising driver and car setup for Duel wins, cheers

This doesn’t work that much since so many ppl use it. I use more best epic driver and worst rare driver. I win about 90% of the time. Unless u race another person doing the same thing with higher stats on car.

not sure if it still works, i’m also new to the game, but i do good the whole race until i cant in the last two laps, and all of a sudden they just do great, i don’t know what to do, i’m out of money now💀

After not watching the video fully the first time I decided to watch again as it's part of the game and knowing how it works may help me overcome it in my own duels (know your enemy 🤣).
On reflection I understand why it gets used and could be used to complete pitpass as I've not always collected everything in a few pitpass's and usally the best parts are at the end of pitpass.
Only thing that will stop me using is that it will ruin the game for me personally, If I can win 100% deuls.
The main things that got me my podium places this year was watching all the youtube guys yourself included and knowing my epics inside out, gaining experience using them alot was invaluable in gps. As boosts work differently on different drivers somethings I definitely wouldn't have spotted with out the experience of using them alot.
I do however totally understand why it would be used. If I couldn't spend money I would probably do it as its very difficult to progress doing it the normal way.
But as you have shown its not impossible.

I noticed that u run your better driver on a hard compound as opposed to a soft or medium. What's the strategy behind that?

I felt bad for the rival and cancelled it before the race ended when I tried it one time.
I know it can be bots but not every player is a bot.
I've raced loads of these, if I see My best boosts are going on and I'm making sure you don't win.
Fia would say it ruins the spirit of competition.

man, I try this strategy all the time. however, sometimes the opponent starts very close to my best driver and the strategy doesn't work anymore. opponent manages to score more points in the end

That strategy does not always work, not against me anyway. My version of that strategy is to use my best driver and my lowest epic driver and my best setup.

You wont win EVERY race. Relatively often i experienced my top tier lvl 6 verstappen seems like he is in quick sand from the start of the race and cant catch up to opponents later on. I do not know whether it is because my bad driver was a lvl 8 tier1

Did not work I put my worst driver in like you said comes in at 20 ok you said that could happen my best driver comes in top 2 but the rival is all ways both cars top 3 I tryed it over ten times same out come ever time
