something I always did was go up to recruiters from companies I wasn't interested in as practice for the big ones I was very interested in. It's good practice to get your elevator pitch together and work off the nerves :)

That was really helpful!! Would you recommend a freshmen going to a career fair if there's not much on my résumé?

How do I include the whole idea of me relocating to NYC in my resume or cover letter? I tried emailing you but it didn't go through. Apparently your inbox is full

thanks for all of the helpful tips. quick question: how would you recommend starting the conversation with a recruiter? obviously you want to introduce yourself, but what is the next step? should you be leading the convo or let the recruiter take hold?

Every career fair recruiter in college tells students to "apply online". Pointless to go in my opinion. Just apply online, and hope for the best, it's honestly all you can do. I wouldn't go unless I have a 4.0, tons of extra circulars, leadership, connections, etc. If you are a regular student, skip it.

Great video! I was wondering, how do you keep up with alumni you meet for coffee or chat with on the phone to stay fresh in their memory 😊

Also, the job posting says to include the Availability date for in-person or Skype interview.... how am I supposed to know what date? or which interview to do? I cant fly to NY unless its paid for and reimbursed.

Hi Lauren! Do you have any tips on reaching out to recruiters on LinkedIn? Especially those who are fellow college alumni? In my case, a recruiter has put her email on her LinkedIn, inviting those to reach out to ask about opportunities. How should I approach this situation if I am interested in learning more about the company?
