*There are TONS of endgame farms for runes, each will give millions per hour. this is the one i did, felt like its best for any class to do and easy due to it being 1 enemy to kill and the grace right next to him*

I’m level 251 and I can say hands down the best rune farming spot is the first area of the blood lord mohg area when are the little fish dudes are just sitting down, get a heavy weapon that can 1 shot them (golden halberd with blessing 1 shots them with a light attack even in new game 4, u get around 60-70k every 45 seconds and 100k in new game plus, clear the whole first little section(where all the guys are sitting down then reload the area and repeat) ofc use golden scarab talisman

In the area where you kill malenia there is a grace with a clearscourge-Knight (dont know the exact name) who gives you around 7300 runes with golden scarab and just two steps away from the grace. If you have a good weapon this is a very good farming spot (around 70.000 runes a minute with +10 Starscourge-Greatsword)

2:43 up to 3:02 for 1 run that yields 3709. That is 19 seconds.
2.000.000 / 3709 = 539 runs
539 runs * 19 seconds = 10.241 seconds or 170 minutes or close to 3 hours to get 2 million runes.

Ima OP this first play through too. Get everything I can possibly get on the first run through. New game+ is when I’ll have fun playing with different builds and not be too over leveled where it doesn’t feel like a fromsoft game. Going for that Demon Souls vibe the 2nd time around.

Im scared to go past 120 just for the sake of balance. I’m at level 50 right now with most of the map discovered and things are challenging in a fun way.

You can kill 2 of the legless gargoyles at deeproot depths at the top of the tree before Fia, with the Golden Scarab it's 4.2k for each one, and they're 10 seconds away from the grace. Each run is 8.5k runes.

Since most people here seem to be unfamiliar with the souls series. There is a "fake" level cap. What this means is that most players will stop leveling at certain level (traditionally 120 or 80). The reason behind this is to make PvP builds a bit more unique since this gives you just enough for a specialized build and don't have everything maxed.
Even if you don't care about PvP. I really recomend to not level past this. If you go way over like this guy your character will be completly useless for anything online since you won't be able to match with any players due to the lvl difference.
If you don't care about this and you just play pve with a password then go ahead no worries.
If you only plan to play this solo and clear, yeah the same. Go for it.

Like most people said: endgame is soul games is completly PvP or NG+7 with SL120 (so you can still invade and stuff).

Also there is a hardcap on most stats so it's kinda dumb to go way overkill on SL since you won't be even gaining any damage or survavility (in most cases).

there is a new farm for a area close to the end game, you go to some sort of island or something but u use this sword with a crazy light wave across the ground and it killed a crap load of enemys and guy was getting like 10k+ per swing and it was a 5 sec thing

if you do it at night the enemy will spawn and can give you up to 9000 runes i believe so try to make sure to do it at night

ty for the guides to get the gold scarrab, btw to get to the abandoned caave, you have to jump down from the top into the side of the wall in the cravace, its kinda hidden. I find you get more runes from the cleanrot knight near the prayer room lost grace site

You truly grinded like an absolute madman!
I personally hate this game's first half. It only starts to finally get rewarding from Lyndell on. It's rather conflictive for an open world that should be encouraging exploration and fighting, to actively punish you for exploring and deviating from what's strictly necessary to progress towards the endgame. I'm not surprised you grinded to lvl 100+ on what's basically the first exploitable leveling zone. Honestly if instead of exploring all over, I just spent hours upon hours just leveling on this first zone and then looked up the route to each main boss, I wouldn't have missed absolutely anything. *Sigh*

If you go to the top left of the snow area there's a small portal to inder caelid if you use the last bosses sword upgraded you can get around 42k for killing a bunch of stuff with one art of war from it

Level 200+ seems too high. The meta for previous souls game was max SL120-125

Elden Ring is a lot bigger, sure. But I wouldn’t go higher than SL150. Too each their own I guess, but I think you’ll find it difficult to find summons or do multiplayer at 200+ levels. Unless you’re just doing it for lolz.

go to mohgwyn Dynasty mausoleum in the under ground area grace point palace approach ledge road 1 guy gives you 2400 runes en there are like 15 of them in a smal area use a spell or a ash of war with a wide range and you will get a lot of runes

Get the sword from the elden beast then go to dynasty mausoleum if u use your special skill once it kills them all and you get 50k or more ez

You do know that you could simply teleport to that grace! Cuz this is what I've been doing! :)
