I recall listening to ‘Journey into Space’ for the first time as a school boy in the 1950’s. Lots of memories. Very dated but that makes it better!

My favourite listening for a long boring flight. The imagery is different to us than the people when it was originally broadcast. That makes it so good 😊

This is superb! I have heard the first 2 series a few times, and never knew this series even existed... and 8 hours of blissfull journeying throught Space with 'Jet' Morgan and Crew.... Being a total lover of Science Fiction/Faction this story is right up my Audio Alley, so to speak. Many thanks for the editing you must have completed. A fairly daunting task to begin with I'd imagine. 💫👽👽👽💜

It's a great series. It was first repeated in the late 80s'. I don't know how many times I've listened to it since.

I think that I heard some of those broadcasts on short wave in the mid 50's when my family was stationed in the Phillipines. I loved them then when I was in 3rd grade and waited eagerly each week for the next episode. So great to hear them now as a single recording.

It is astounding that this series of stories was written nearly 70 years ago by Charles Chiltern who's imagination was inspirational and so advanced for that time.

"Cut the cackle" . I'm pretty sure there were occasions when the other crew members were tempted to jetison Lemmy from the ship. 😂

I love these although they're way before my time! They are gripping and enjoyable. The only thing that bugs me is the fact i can't visualise, so im jealous of all of you non aphantsics !

I can’t help but think that if “intelligent life” does exist somewhere in the universe - they have observed us for long enough to know it is best if they never reveal themselves to us… Any alien would learn from their observations of how humans behave towards each other that they wouldn’t receive a warm welcome should they make themselves known to us!
