I have no idea how many times I have listened to this classic radio series and I never tire of it. I'm 75 years old and reliving it once again.

Last heard this as a child listening with my father in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Brings back many wonderful memories as I now listen as an old man in Australia. Thank you.

I am a 25-year-old psychiatric nurse who listens to radio shows from “back in the day” with an elderly male neighbour who has advanced dementia. It was he, his name is Charlie, who picked up on the line in this radio drama where one of the crew of the “space rocket” Luna mentions it having “valves” in its electrical system. This left me asking myself if any of the moonshots was ever undertaken with a spacecraft that actually used valves in its electrical system. I’ve had to Google “valves” to find out what one actually looked like! It was fascinating to hear what the writer of this story made up for the Luna astronauts had to do during their mission. Unlike the brilliant Arthur C. Clarke invented for his sci-fi novels I couldn’t pick one idea mentioned in this adventure that eventually made its way into every day use in space exploration - he practically invented the iPad like device for the fantastic movie 2001: A Space Odyssey (which one of its main characters used during a flight to the moon).

I don't know how many times I've listened to this series, usually when I'm decorating or having a long Photoshop spell. I enjoy every moment.

Such a great series, I got a 2 cassette set of journey to the moon for 7th yrs later can't find the cassettes but with the joy of internet I'm really enjoying reliving the excitement and fun of this great series. Thanks so much for uploading and thanks to Mr Charles Chilton for creating this.

Journey into space was the very first series I can remember being excited about, it resonated with me. It now all these years later I find that there are more than the first few episodes that I can remember. Oh what joy!!

I absolutely love these..I remember enjoying them on the radio when they replayed them in the 90s with my Dad on long van journeys who remembered them well and then they were released them on cassettes and we played them so many times, laughing at the occasional absurdities and Lemmy as the perpetual whinger and as Dad put it the four most unsuitable candidates to be spacemen ever, but the genius of Chilton and the wonderful escapism is still as addictive as ever, I miss you Dad.

To hear the words ‘Journey into Space’ as a 9yr old was exciting and slightly menacing at the same time, wonderful series.

My dad bought me these re-ecordings on cassette when I was I kid because I used to love falling asleep to these dramatised stories. I also had the radio adaptations of Tintin and Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

Fantastic experiences! Thank you for the upload.

G'Day, found this while was in Hospital a few weeks ago, helped me pass the time, last time I heard it was in the 50s back in England, looking forward to hearing the rest of the stories, from Perth Western Aust.

I just want to say. I love the Journey into Space so much no kidding I listen to them everyday. I'm a custodian in a school in Oldham Co .KY. Jet Lemmy Doc and Mitch get me through my nights. I listen to other stories too even si fi ones..but all the journey's into space are my favorite go to when the others start to bore me.. I thank you for putting them on You Tube . They save my sanity . I feel like I know each man personally. I've heard them all at least 100 times in the past 8 months or so. Whish there were more.😊

You know I had to get up early this morning.
But around midnight last night,
I decided to start listening to this story. I may be a little tired later but I enjoyed every five hours of this tremendous story.

My thoughts of being a writer as I already been doing some writing :

Everyone in the world has the ability with your imagination is the strongest thing in the world
