Just an FYI. I bought a butt load of those digital thermometers and most if not all of them are broken. They don't keep the right temp. I bought a hand held infrared thermometer to spot check the tanks with those old school glass aquarium thermometers to keep in the tank. Great video's!

I use infrared thermometer from harbor freight to check all my tanks and patio ponds.

Interesting way of packing the fish. Where do you get the insulation?

Mike are you not insulating the heat away from the fish. I would think you need to cap in the heat for the fish?
The insulation boxes keep the heat to the fish with the insulation containing the heat and the fish inside.
I just say this becuse until yoday the lakes were already froze over here in WI with night time lows at 13.

Maybe this has been asked before and you have answered it in another video but I was just wondering when you do the upgrade in your fish room are you going to keep the plumbing in the front me personally I would put the plumbing towards the back for easier filming but I don't know what kind of setup you have going on in there so obviously you got to do what you got to do I'm going to check with my wife and hopefully you will have an email soon about those Stardust and maybe some guppy grass?
