Easy fix on the fallen filter. I had the same problem. What I did was unscrew the bottom and then take an old sponge filter base and super glue it to the filter bottom and a year now and the filter is always in place and to clean I just pull it out and unscrew the base. Clean the sponge and replace and done. No more sticking to the glass for me. This works out great.

I have NEVER had a problem with my Aquaclears not restarting after a power outage. However, when I do water changes I do add water to the reservoir to speed up the refill. That's only because the water gets lower than the intake tube and the vacuum gets broken during water changes. That does not happen if the water stays full. I'm glad you brought this to everyone's attention! Thanks!!!! (I have 2 Tidals as well but they are so And they are more difficult to clean.)

I've been feeding that food for about 3 months now to my Guppies and small fish and they take to it like a kid to Candy. They seem to be more colorful and growing faster and are more vibrant with this food. Michael I think you're going to love this food

Have you tried filter floss(polyester fiber) on the intake? You can put it on the tube with a rubber band to hold it. Fry cannot get sucked in and it acts like a pre-filter also.

I use Northfin Flake, and grind it up into Fry Food. Works great. All of my fish love Northfin Flake Food.

Are use aqua clear filters on a lot of my tanks. I have found that when people say that there’s don’t restart after losing power it’s because they need to clean the magnet and propeller. If the magnet and propeller clean they will start every time. Keep up the great work!🐠🦯

Ive had a filter stop working after power went out micheal it’s true!!! It never turned on again

Curious what your thoughts are on the pleco problem of them getting huge and fishkeepers releasing them into the wild or leaving them in tanks that are way tooo small for them. I've heard some folks are saying that people shouldn't breed them and add to the problem. I don't think I agree with that, but I can't help but doubt that everybody who buys a standard pleco has a 100+G tank that they will eventually need....again curious what your thoughts are on the situation.
FTR, hank gets my vote...don't tell Taco.

I’ll stick to my main stuff for food. Every time I change foods for some reason my fish get bloat and die. Also I bet the fish was fighting the filter lol 😂 I am surprised he doesn’t destroy your sponge filter.

When you were previewing the tanks, it would be helpful if you didn't go so fast. Maybe just take an extra second or two to allow the camera to zoom in on a fish or two. Just a recommendation for next time. Love the content as always!
